Do you love being in airports but don’t always have the time or money to travel? Consider volunteering at BWI Airport! If you have a passion for aviation and assisting others, become a Pathfinder volunteer.

The Pathfinders consist of 160 volunteers who come from all different professional paths but share the love of helping and travel. From retired pilots to registered nurses and former cartoonists, a Pathfinder can come from any walk of life. Pathfinders are expected to contribute at least four hours per week volunteering at information desks. This comes with the satisfaction of helping over 66,000 passengers, as of 2016, considering Pathfinders work in the terminals seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Volunteers must complete five one-on-one training sessions with a Pathfinder mentor. Afterwards, Pathfinders receive rewards such as an annual holiday party and complimentary airport parking. For more information about the position, please click here.
