We wanted to give customers planning to use the Philadelphia Cruise Port an update on what to expect when traveling to the port.

First and foremost know that Norwegian Cruise Lines does not have an actual port. You have to board the bus at the Clarion Hotel in Philadelphia by the airport.

The first cruise we dropped off a group and it was just share pandemonium. It was really disorganized and confusing for passengers.

Last week when we dropped off two people going on a cruise it was very organized. There was a definite difference in the drop off and super structured. We will in and out within 5 minutes.

One thing I noticed about the parking is that they do not have a lot of parking and if you are going to park your car for the week.  I would recommend that you arrive very early to get a good parking spot.  I am not sure what the daily parking rate is.  I would check this out directly with the cruise company.

From what I am told the ride to the actual port is about a 30 minute ride. You are taken to the ship on 55 passenger buses.

When you return from the cruise you are dropped off at the Philadelphia International Airport at Terminal C. So be prepared to have your ride meet you at the airport and not at the Clarion Hotel.

Generally the buses get passengers to the airport about 8ish.

If you have a larger group try to avoid parking and use a shuttle service. If you are coming from Central Pa there are many shuttle companies that you can use for your family or group.

Have a safe and wonderful cruise and if you need a great, safe airport shuttle contact Relax and Ride Carlisle.
