Three Hour Prior to International Travel

One of the most important parts of traveling to an airport is arriving on time for a flight.  Here at Relax and Ride Carlisle we have set up safeguards to protect us when transporting people for international travel.  We understand that travel can be stressful and we take the stress out of the travel to the airport.  

Why We Implement Three Hour Arrival Prior to Flight

The first thing to consider when traveling aboard often times a flight has been paid for by the customer.  If it is a husband and wife the tickets can be in the thousands.  The airlines also recommend people to be at the airport three hours prior to departure.  During the peak seasons the TSA checkpoints can be very busy.  The final thing why we implement this three hour window is because it builds in a window for our drivers not to have to rush to the airport which could cause a safety issue.

Often times when clients are traveling from Mechanicsburg, PA it is a solid two hour drive and that is without traffic.  So When we get a reservation that says the flight takes off at 5:00 PM from Dulles International Airport we know we have to leave Mechanicsburg at 11:30 AM to get the party to the airport by 2:00 PM. 

 Clients Appreciate 3 Hour Arrival Time 

We have been transporting people to Dulles International Airport for a long time and most of our clients are in agreement with the three hour arrival time for travel as they do not have to worry about rushing to the airport at the last minute.  Everything seems to go smoother as they can have time to get themselves situated in the airport and even grab a bite to eat in the airport.  Personally having traveled overseas myself I know there is a lot of walking to get to your gate at Dulles International Airport so you want to be there with plenty of time to spare.
